Proposed omnium rules updates for RMCCC
All USA Cycling rules apply to RMCCC competition. Please refer to the USA Cycling Rulebook and the USA Cycling Collegiate Rulebook.Important points to remember:
- You are responsible for knowing and adhering to the rules
- Before you show up to race, check your license to ensure you are listed in the correct category
- To upgrade, visit My USA Cycling, login and submit your request at least two days prior to racing
- 7J. Equipment
7J1. Bicycles
(a) Bicycles used in competition in all Collegiate Road and Time Trial Events must conform with the current UCI and USAC regulations for mass-start legal bicycles.
(b) No handlebar extensions, including "aero bars," or other forms of bars offering forearm support shall be allowed.
7J2. Wheels
(a) Wheels used in competition in all Collegiate Road and Time Trial Events must conform with UCI mass-start legal regulations. The UCI maintains a website with the information of approved wheels.
7J3. Helmets
(a) Helmets worn at Collegiate Road and Time Trial Events must meet USAC regulations for mass-start legal, and be worn in accordance with USAC rules
- Uniform Regulations:
7I1. At each Race, all Riders for a Team must wear identifiably similar

RMCCC Specific Rules:
4.5.a The RMCCC shall host bi-annual meetings at the end of each

event, and a maximum of $50 for an event with three or more races. No

team enters more than 3 non-composite teams in a single category, only
the top three placing teams will score.
